Efiling with browser FireFox version 19 or above

We strongly recommend you to use Internet Explorer as your browser to file your tax return.

If you still want to submit a tax return/voucher with Firefox version 19 or above, you must perform the following settings prior to efiling:

Verify the version of Mozilla Firefox you are using.

Go to: Help >> About Firefox

Note: In case the menu bar does not appear in the browser, please press key F10 (on your keyboard) for it to appear.

If you have Firefox version 18 or below, you can proceed with filing your tax return/voucher without any changes in the settings of your browser.

If you are using Firefox version 19 or above, you are strongly advised to perform the steps mentioned below:

i. Click on Tools >> Options >> Applications (on the browser)

ii. Change the Action of the content type of Portable Document Format PDF or PDF File to Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)

iii. Click OK to save your changes

If ever the option Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox) is missing in the drop-down menu, you need to perform an additional setting.

Go to:

• Tools >> Add-ons >> Plugins
• Activate the Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape1

Note: You must update your Adobe plugin to the latest version in case Firefox prompts you for update.
